Movember 2008
I am quite proud of the boys in my office who took part in Movember. In the month of Movember thousands of gentlemen forgo their sense of fashion and decorum to grow moustaches and garner sponsorship to aid in the fight against prostate cancer.
It is a very noble cause since:
- Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men in the UK. 35,000 men are diagnosed every year and one man dies every hour.
- 1 in 11 UK men will be diagnosed in their lifetime.
Since I was unable to grow a moustache myself (any wisecracks on that will be punishable by death), I devoted my Monday blogs (and eventually my pride) to the London Gentleman’s Tash Society, captained by the fabulous Oli. This is a log of their (and my progress)
